Budget & Optimization: Manage media budgets, pacing, and optimization toward CPI/CAC targets
Channel expansion: Test emerging channels (e.g., Nextdoor, Reddit) for incremental reach
Audience & Creative Strategy: Develop audience segmentation strategies and analyze performance by creative, audience, and placement
Influencer Amplification: Amplify viral influencer content through Spark Ads and paid boosts
Creative Testing: Run 10–20 creative variations weekly to maintain test velocity and learning compounding
Tracking & Reporting: Own dashboards and performance tracking via Adjust, Mixpanel, GA4, and Looker Studio
Experimentation: Build experiments around CAC, ROAS, retention, and payback period
Technical Infrastructure: Implement and maintain tracking stack (server-side GTM, CAPI) and app attribution (Adjust), including dual-app tracking (Seniors/Family App)
CRO & Lifecycle: A/B testing on landing pages, app stores (ASO), and in-app onboarding to maximize conversion rates. Support automated CRM flows to improve retention.

About Amara™
We are Amara™ — a Berlin-based startup developing a voice-based AI companion for older adults. Amara™ provides support in everyday life, offers guidance, and keeps families connected — without the need for new devices or complicated menus. We are a small, dedicated team working on technology that really makes a difference.
We believe that the best ideas for a product come from the people who will use it later. That's why we're looking for you.
Your mission
They know life from a perspective that no degree can teach. What it means to have lived a long, fulfilling life. Which little things really help—and which ones are annoying. This knowledge is invaluable to us.
As a Senior Advisor & Tester at Amara™, you bring your experience, your everyday life, and your honest opinion directly into the development process. You help us make Amara™ what it should be: a true companion that understands how people really live.
Your responsibilities
Product feedback: You test new features in your daily life and tell us what works—and what doesn't.
Insights into everyday life: You share with us what makes up your day, what's on your mind, what you're missing, or what brings you joy.
Co-creation: You participate in regular discussions with our team and contribute your ideas.
Language & clarity: You help us formulate texts, dialogues, and explanations in such a way that they are truly understandable.
Honest voice: They tell us when something is wrong — without beating around the bush.
What you bring to the table
You are 60 years of age or older
You are eager to try new things—even if technology has not always been your best friend.
You are curious, open-minded, and have opinions (which you are happy to express).
You want to actively contribute to making technology better and more human.
You have the time and desire to get involved on a regular basis—whether that's a few hours a week or more is up to you.
Do you need prior knowledge of technology or programming? Not at all!
What we offer you
A meaningful job where your experience counts—not despite your age, but precisely because of it.
A warm team of people from different generations—from young to experienced—who listen and take your perspective seriously.
Mini-job basis (minor employment, fully compatible with your pension)
Flexible scheduling that fits your life
The opportunity to contribute remotely or in person at our Berlin office
A small expense allowance for your time
The good feeling of working on something important
Why this could really be the best internship ever
Because you don't wash coffee cups here.
Because your opinion makes a difference.
Because you see how your words are transformed into a better product — for people like you, for your children and grandchildren, for everyone who one day wants a reliable companion by their side.
We are designing Amara™ together with the people who will use it. And we would be delighted if you joined us.
