About Amara™

We are Amara™, a Berlin-based startup developing an AI-powered companion for older adults. Our product supports cognitive abilities, provides structure in everyday life, and helps people maintain independence and safety for as long as possible. In a small, fast-moving team, we work at the forefront of applied AI - building technology with clear social relevance. AI is central to both our product and how we work every day.

Your Mission

You will own our paid acquisition engine, scaling installs and conversions across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, Apple Search Ads, and emerging paid channels. You're both a strategist and an operator: you design experiments, build campaigns, run rapid creative tests, and turn winning concepts into scalable systems. Your goal: drive user growth efficiently while maintaining CAC below target and continuously improving LTV-to-CAC ratio.

Your Responsibilities

  • Paid Acquisition: Design and execute full-funnel user acquisition campaigns across Meta, Google, Apple, YouTube, and TikTok campaigns.

  • Budget & Optimization: Manage media budgets, pacing, and optimization toward CPI/CAC targets

  • Channel expansion: Test emerging channels (e.g., Nextdoor, Reddit) for incremental reach

  • Audience & Creative Strategy: Develop audience segmentation strategies and analyze performance by creative, audience, and placement

  • Influencer Amplification: Amplify viral influencer content through Spark Ads and paid boosts

  • Creative Testing: Run 10–20 creative variations weekly to maintain test velocity and learning compounding

  • Tracking & Reporting: Own dashboards and performance tracking via Adjust, Mixpanel, GA4, and Looker Studio

  • Experimentation: Build experiments around CAC, ROAS, retention, and payback period

  • Technical Infrastructure: Implement and maintain tracking stack (server-side GTM, CAPI) and app attribution (Adjust), including dual-app tracking (Seniors/Family App)

  • CRO & Lifecycle: A/B testing on landing pages, app stores (ASO), and in-app onboarding to maximize conversion rates. Support automated CRM flows to improve retention.

Your skill set

  • 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience for consumer apps or direct-to-consumer brands

  • Proven success managing multi-channel budgets with ROI discipline

  • Deep expertise in TikTok Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, and Google Ads

  • Analytical and experimental mindset - comfortable living inside dashboards

  • Proficient in campaign automation, pixel setup, and audience retargeting logic

  • Experience in mobile app growth and attribution modeling

  • Familiar with Spark Ads, creative testing frameworks, and A/B experimentation

  • Basic SQL or Looker knowledge for deeper performance analysis

  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini) for analysis, content, and workflow optimization, or a strong drive to adopt them quickly

  • Fluency in English, written and spoken, German nice-to-have

Tool Stack

Tools we work with include TikTok Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, YouTube Ads, Apple Search Ads, Google Tag Manager (server-side), Adjust, Mixpanel, GA4, Looker Studio, Supermetrics, Asana, Airtable, Figma, Cursor, Slack, and Google Workspace. Experience with all of them is a plus, but what matters most is the willingness to learn and adapt quickly.

What You Bring

  • Passion for data-driven growth and performance marketing

  • Genuine interest in our target audience: you understand that marketing a product for older adults and their families requires empathy, clarity, and cross-generational communication.

  • High sense of ownership: you manage media budgets with discipline and accountability

  • Creative curiosity: you care deeply about the performance of visuals, hooks, and copy

  • Rapid and pragmatic: you launch multiple tests weekly and adjust daily

  • Collaborative mindset: you bridge data and creativity to scale winners fast

  • Strong interest in socially relevant topics such as AI, cognitive support, and aging

Why Amara™?
