How it all began
The idea for Amara™ originated in our own families. The more digital everything became, the harder it was for older relatives to keep up. Not because they weren't interested, but because the tools became too complex. However, their desire remained the same: closeness, interaction, and a sense of belonging. And in the background, a problem quietly grew that is rarely spoken about: loneliness in old age and a lack of everyday support.
This led to a simple conclusion: if technology is overwhelming, it needs to be more subtle. Language is better suited to this than any menu because it is intuitive and does not exclude anyone.
This is how Amara™ was developed: a voice-based AI companion for older adults that provides support in everyday life, offers guidance, and facilitates closeness within the family without any technical hurdles.
